Nicole studied voice under Russell Faith (Andrea McArdel) as a child before going to Temple University to major in Jazz Vocal Performance. She went on to record music and voice overs in Philadelphia before moving to Los Angeles in 1997.
       In Los Angeles, Nicole emerged on the scene as a singer, songwriter, and session vocalist. She works   regularly with Emmy Award winning and nominated composers Ernest Troost (Tremors) & Blake Neely (Brothers and Sisters/Surfer, Dude)and Steve Edwards on film and television projects along with numerous other composers and songwriters on library music and commercials including David Kitay, Peter Kater, Clifford J. Tasner, Andy Waterman, Jonathan Clark, Ed Tree, and Alex Kharlamov.
Nicole co-wrote & recorded with legendary songwriter Gerry Goffin on some new tunes and he gave her the sign of approval, "I think you have a great career ahead of you!" She continues to record for Gerry and recently had the pleasure of recording for Mike Stoller, of Leiber & Stoller (Hound Dog/Stand by Me) fame!!
She recently recorded a promo spot for the Emmy winning NBC show, "The Office" which can be seen and heard on her website, www.NicoleGordon.net
Her song, "Breathe again" co-written with Steve Edwards, was used as the promo for Cinemax's Fall HD promo spot in 2010.
"Into the light, out of the darkness" a song off of on of Nicole's original CD's, is the theme song for Orbis International, a non profit charity organization dedicated to fighting blindness around the world. 
She was the vocalist at a live performance of award winning director Guy Maddin’s BRAND UPON THE BRAIN! at The Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles with an 11-piece live orchestra, a 3-person live Foley sound effect team, and narrator, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Udo_Kier">Udo Kier. </a>
<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Udo_Kier"> </a>Nicole was part of a 4 part choir for the new animated film, “The Legend of Secret Pass “starring, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005260/">Frankie Muniz</a>. 
Nicole appeared as the singing voice of "<a href="http://ats.nicolegordon.net/music/WeightofWater.mp3">Madison</a>" on the Warner Bros show "EVERWOOD" for 4 episodes, is a featured artist on Lufthansa Airlines and in Regal Cinema's nationwide and has had over 50 songs placed in film & television.
